What the Polaris P724 does well
Small But Mighty with Cyclonic Vacuum Technology: The Polaris P724's compact and lightweight design makes it easy to handle while powerful Cyclonic Vacuum Technology captures debris and keeps it suspended to maintain suction throughout the cleaning cycle.
Energy Efficient Cleaning in as Little as 2.5 Hours: Don’t waste time or money cleaning your pool. For pennies a day, the Polaris P724 will thoroughly clean your pool’s floors and walls in as little as 2.5 hours.
Easy Clean Filter Canister with Transparent Lid: The transparent lid takes the guesswork out of knowing when to empty the canister. And when you do, the P724's Easy Clean Filter Canister makes cleaning a breeze. Simply remove, shake, and spray!
Cleans Floor, Walls, & Waterline: With scrubbing brushes, wall-hugging tracks, and powerful suction, the Polaris P724 thoroughly cleans and scrubs the floor, walls, and waterline of in-ground pools up to 36 feet.
Polaris Robotic Pool Cleaners: For more than 50 years, Polaris has been known worldwide for its quality and premium cleaning power. This visionary class of pool cleaners has become the benchmark against which all others are measured. Focused on premium engineering, rugged construction, and reliability, Polaris pool cleaners are built to last and are proven to clean where others can't.
The P724 is the entry point to the Polaris robotic range and the one to look at if lifting a 40 lb machine out of the water is the part of pool ownership you'd rather avoid. At 22 lb it's roughly half the weight of the Freedom Plus, and it still covers floor, walls and waterline.
Weight is the feature
Robot cleaners get returned over handling far more often than over cleaning. At 22 lb the P724 is a genuinely one-handed lift for most people, wet. That alone makes it the right recommendation for a lot of buyers who'd otherwise be steered toward a heavier flagship.
Cyclonic vacuum in a small body
Polaris didn't drop the cyclonic system to hit this price. Debris separates out and drops into the canister rather than packing against the filter, so suction holds through the cycle — the same principle as on the ERA models.
Tracks, not wheels
Wall-hugging tracks give it the grip to climb and stay on the waterline despite its light weight, which is where a lot of lightweight robots fall down.
Running cost
A 2.5-hour cycle on a low-voltage supply costs a few cents. Compared with running a booster pump for a pressure cleaner, the difference over a season is substantial.
