Robot won't turn on
Check that the power supply is plugged into a working GFCI outlet and the cable is fully seated. Try a different outlet. If the power supply has indicator lights, note any error codes.
Weak suction / not picking up debris
This is almost always a full or clogged filter. Remove and rinse it, then check the impeller area for stuck debris. Make sure the basket is seated correctly so water flows through the filter, not around it.
Not climbing walls
Worn brushes or tracks, reduced suction from a dirty filter, or slick walls (often from high pH/calcium) are the usual causes. Clean the filter, inspect the brushes, and brush the walls before running.
Robot floats or won't sink
Trapped air is the culprit. Tilt the robot underwater to release air bubbles before starting the cycle, and make sure the filter door is closed.
Cable tangling
Let the cable untwist by stretching it out in the sun, and coil it loosely for storage. Models with an anti-tangle swivel greatly reduce this.
Robot moves in circles or misses areas
Check for a stuck track or debris in the drive wheels. Ensure the filter isn't so full it's affecting balance. If your model has app-based navigation modes, try resetting them.
