Built for Concrete
Concrete surfaces hold onto dirt and algae in their pores, so an active brush and climbing ability matter more than on smooth surfaces. Dolphin's ProLine™ and Max-Series™ cleaners scrub concrete floors, walls, and the waterline with rotating brushes that reach into the texture.
As one of the largest authorized dealers and retailers of robotic pool cleaners online, we've hand-tested 70+ robots across every major brand — every recommendation below comes from real poolside experience, and every unit we sell is factory-direct with a full manufacturer warranty.
Recommended Models
The Premier and Sigma lead for large concrete pools; the Quantum and Cayman offer great value for standard concrete pools. All are rated for the abrasion concrete puts on brushes and tracks.
Concrete vs. Gunite vs. Plaster
"Concrete pool" usually means a poured or sprayed shell (gunite/shotcrete) finished with plaster, pebble, or tile. Robot choice is driven by the finish you touch: rough finishes need durable, aggressive brushes (Premier, Sigma); smooth plaster does well with any ProLine™ model. If you know your finish, the linked surface guides get more specific.
