Ledges, Shelves, and Sun Decks
Tanning ledges and Baja shelves (6–12 inches of water) are too shallow for any robot to submerge — the robot cleans up to the shelf edge, and the shelf itself needs a quick brush toward the deep water where the robot collects it. Debris blown onto shelves is usually fine dust and pollen, so a fine filter in the main pool captures what washes off.
